Do I Need To Service With A BMW Dealership?
The answer in short is “no” you do not need to service with a BMW dealership. Automotive Hospital has team members who are BMW mechanic specialists and are a cost effective alternative to a BMW service centre providing a great service at a great price. Let’s take a look at the advantages of going to a local specialised mechanic rather than an authorised BMW dealership for routine service.
A Team You Can Trust
Authorised BMW dealerships are typically quite a large beast you have no idea who is actually working on your car. On the other hand, here at the Automotive Hospital, you can chat with our expert technicians who understand all the in’s and out’s of your BMW. Having the same experienced mechanic working on your car ensures a continuity of care – something that rarely happens at a BMW dealership.
BMW repair and servicing is ongoing for a BMW that is out of warranty and can add up. A BMW dealership typically is carrying larger overheads and are consistently more expensive than a local mechanic. For an average service we usually come in around 25% less than a BMW service centre. You will also find our BMW repair costs are much lower.
Have an emergency you need dealt with quick smart? A BMW service centre can sometimes take a long time to get you in. When your BMW needs some love pronto, we will book you in, resolve the issue and have you back on the road in no time.

This establishment comes very highly recommended. I broke down nearby and they were very very helpful all-round. Very well run and managed, with very friendly and efficient staff. Sam The manager runs a really good show here.”
We cannot recommend Auto Hospital more highly. They are very experienced mechanics, ethical, fairly priced with great customer service skills. A special thanks to Tim for diagnosing an issue with our BMW when other places all got it wrong. You won’t go wrong with Automotive Hospital and their great team. Thanks guys, we’re now loyal customers.”
Genuine, honest and knowledgeable, and a great bunch of guys. They are the only mechanics I can trust and would never go anywhere else. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough.”
I have a classic 1994 BMW 730iL which I take it to Automotive Hospital only. Tim has looked after the car for the past 6 years and always manages to maintain the car perfectly and advise me about the condition and any future work with options. He gives me extra value over another mechanic because he really cares about the vehicle and my customer experience. How he has managed to get vehicle parts and do the maintenance amazes me; it is a sign of a truly professional business and a great service. He has the unusual personality trait of actually being honest and his word is his bond. I recommend Automotive Hospital with a full 5 stars.”
Amazing service, so professional. Never wastes your time or convenience. Wish other businesses could be like this.”
Great expert service with fast turnaround. Car always comes back feeling like new.”
Top shelf service and care”
I had my BMW X5 serviced here today and the customer service was impeccable. Admittedly I know very little about cars, but Tim was able to explain everything in layman’s terms, making me feel comfortable and assured every step of the way. If you’re looking for a reliable and trustworthy team of mechanics, I highly recommend Automotive Hospital. As an added bonus, my car came back sparkling clean.”
