The Volkswagen Caddy was first introduced to the market in 1980. It is considered a leisure activity vehicle (M-segment). The Caddy features several different body styles including the ¾-door van, 3-door panel van, 4-door MPV, 2-door coupé utility. The Volkswagen Caddy is laid out with a transverse front-engine, front-wheel-drive/four-wheel-drive capabilities. The Caddy line up in the third generation is versatile and includes two body sizes: normal and Maxi, which are comprised on the following types: Panel Van, Window Panel Van, Kombi, Caddy Life, and Caddy Life Camper.
