2015 VF GTS Supercharged – Hard-starting issue and the engine life

Youtube Post@2x
Problem:

This client has come in with a complaint about a hard-starting issue and the engine light. We ran a diagnostic scan test which revealed a camshaft position sensor fault. Our testing then confirmed that there was no reading actually coming from the camshaft sensor.

Solution:

Our advice to the client was to replace the camshaft sensor, including the crankshaft sensor as a pair, as they both age at the same time. Having one replaced and not the other may cause a problem in the near future again.
